Update 5/8/24: Physical copies of Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition are back in stock at GameStop, but sold out everywhere else it has become available. It still hasn’t shown up at Amazon, Target, or Walmart, and we’ll update this page if/when it does. It’s also available to preorder in digital format from the Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, a collection of over 150 challenges from 13 different NES games, is coming exclusively to Switch on July 18. It’s available for preorder now in digital edition, but physical editions have sold out everywhere they’ve become available.

There’s a Speedrun Mode that has you run through sections of the games as fast as you can to set new personal records. There’s a World Championship Mode with global online leaderboards so you can compete with others. Party Mode lets you play local competitions with up to 8 players.
